Sheri, Director of The Dance Factory, has trained students for over 30 years. A dancer since the age of eight, she has studied extensively in New York City and Chicago with numerous Master Teachers. Her jazz training includes studying with Gus Giordano of Chicago, the author of Anthology of American Jazz, tap training with Robert (Bob) Fitch, and ballet training with Don Farnworth and Harry Asmus.
Her diversified dance background has enabled her to offer classes in creative movement, jazz, tap, ballet, stretch, middle eastern dance and musical theater.
Sheri has choreographed for local musical theater programs and served as a grant reviewer for the Delaware Arts Council. She earned her Certification in Dance Education from the National Dance Educators’ Online Dance Institute (OPDI).
Bridget comes into Intellidance® after the birth of her wonderful and amazing daughter. It became her goal to provide a warm, nurturing environment where caregivers and children can learn, engage with others, and find a reason to leave the house (it is SO hard when you have a little one)! That opportunity arose through a partnership with The Dance Factory, the studio where Bridget discovered a love of dance by taking adult tap and jazz classes. More than anything, Bridget wants to provide the joy of education and dance to as many families as possible!
Previously a teacher, Bridget is embarking down a new education path. After teaching 4 year-olds to middle school Math and ELA for 7 years, she learned she most enjoyed teaching younger students, primarily pre-K and K. Prior to becoming a teacher, Bridget was a lawyer focused on the family where she clerked for a family law judge and provided her services as a law guardian (attorney for children).
Throughout her life, she has been dedicated to ensuring children receive a quality education and is immensely looking forward to continuing that drive through implementation of the Intellidance® program.
Alexis received her dance training at The Dance Factory and has been dancing since the age of 4. Lexi has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary. She joined the faculty last year teaching Foundations 1 and Level 1 classes. Over the summer she became Head Counselor for Summer Camp, directing and choreographing for the 6 to 12 year-old students.
Lexi has been a part of the performance group DANCEWORKS since the age of 7. She has danced at the Delaware Dance Festival in 2018 and 2019 where she performed “Rumination” and “Masters of War” and has also danced for several benefits and school programs.
Lexi has continued her dance training by attending Master classes under Master Teachers Alex Wong, Christina Paolucci, Gina Longo and Joi Lynn Hopkins. She is currently attending Delaware Technical & Community College studying business.
